<\/span>Torralbo Magazine<\/b> is the educational and informational publication of the <\/span>Agrupaci\u00f3n de Cofrad\u00edas of Lucena<\/b>, an editorial project that has accompanied the city\u2019s confraternity life for more than four decades. Its first issue was published during <\/span>Lent in 1982<\/b>, thus beginning a journey that has continued <\/span>uninterrupted to the present day<\/b>, faithfully reflecting the vitality and commitment of our brotherhoods and confraternities. Since 2020, it has been published entirely in full color. <\/span><\/p>\n With a strong informative character, the publication has become a landmark space for the study, reflection, and promotion of <\/span>Holy Week in Lucena<\/b> and of its most distinctive hallmark: the <\/span>santer\u00eda<\/b>, recognized as an Asset of Cultural Interest.<\/p>\n From its beginnings, the magazine has sought to offer<\/span>broad and varied content<\/b>, always in keeping with the Christian philosophy that inspires our understanding of confraternity and santera life. To this end, the magazine has relied on contributions from a <\/span>distinguished range of writers<\/b>, including the <\/span>Official Chroniclers of Lucena<\/b> and other authors of recognised standing who have regularly features in its pages. <\/span><\/p>\n Now classic sections such as \u2018<\/span>Notes for History \u2019<\/b>, coexist with a <\/span>new literary and poectic contributions<\/b>from collaborators, alongside <\/span>historical studies<\/b> on the tradition of Holy Week in Lucena. All of this forms part of a publication open to anyone wishing to express their perspective on the Christian and confraternity life of the town.<\/span><\/p>\n In addition, the magazine includes the <\/span>opening greetings<\/b> from the President of the Agrupaci\u00f3n de Cofrad\u00edas of Lucena and its adviser Priest, as well as a <\/span>message from the Bishop of C\u00f3rdoba and the Pope<\/b>,together with interviews with the Holy Week Proclaimer and the recipient of the Manolo Ram\u00edrez Cofrade Award.<\/span><\/p>\n The magazine also includes sections dedicated to the <\/span>activities organised by the Agrupaci\u00f3n de Cofrad\u00edas<\/b>, as well as anniversaries and events relating to our brotherhoods, which together form the living memory of Holy Week in Lucena.<\/span><\/p>\n In 2025, a particularly significant year for the Catholic Church marked by the celebration of the <\/span>Jubilee Year<\/b>, Torralbo Magazine publish a special edition in September on the occasion of the <\/span>Great Passion Procession \u201cLucena Vive la Pasi\u00f3n\u201d<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n In short, <\/span>Torralbo Magazine<\/b> is a reflection of an entire community\u2019s commitment to its religious, devotional, cultural, and social heritage.
