Santeros, mantillas, brotherhood members, drummers… all of them form a colorful procession followed by thousands of spectators. In 1973, the Agrupación de Cofradías (Association of Brotherhoods) took charge of organizing a parade of children’s processions in the form of a competition, which in 1985 became the “Parade of Children’s Processions before Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno (Our Father Jesus of Nazareth)”. Since that year, the children’s processions have passed by the chapel of Jesús Nazareno In 1988, the Agrupación handed over the organisation to the Peña El Santero.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_4″ _builder_version=”4.27.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.2″ _module_preset=”default” header_3_font=”Poppins|600|||||||” header_3_font_size=”27px” custom_padding=”0px|||||” hover_enabled=”0″ locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″]

Cabalgata de la Ilusión (Parade of Illusion)

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https://semanasantalucena.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/20260105_200205-scaled.jpg” title_text=”20260105_200205″ _builder_version=”4.27.2″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.2″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″]

As every year, their Majesties the Three Wise Men visit Lucena bringing gifts and excitement.
