Torralbo<\/strong>, the informative and educational magazine of the<\/span>Agrupaci\u00f3n de Cofrad\u00edas of Lucena since 1983<\/b>, once again comes before its readers on an extraordinary occasion. The <\/span>first Great Passion Procession<\/b> in the town\u2019s history, to be held on <\/span>27th September 2025<\/b> as part of the Jubilee Year, has inspired this special edition, which is destined to become part of Lucena\u2019s collective memory.<\/span><\/p>\n

This special edition serves as the perfect introduction to the Great Passion Procession \u2018Lucena Vive la Pasi\u00f3n\u2019. Its pages bring together a carefully selection of articles, concise historical and heritage notes on the participating brotherhoods and confraternities, and \u2015most notably\u2015 <\/span>the complete composition of the eighteen \u2018cuadrillas de santero\u2019 (santero crews)<\/b> that will carry and guide the processional thrones during this unique occasion. It is further enriched by an extensive photographic collection featuring \u2018manijeros\u2019, \u2018porrillas\u2019, \u2018tamboreros\u2019 and \u2018torralbos\u2019, offering a detailed glimpse into the human and aesthetic richness of the <\/span>\u2018santer\u00eda\u2019 tradition<\/b>, recently recognised as a <\/span>National Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC)<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alongside these core features, this special edition includes messages of welcome from the Agrupaci\u00f3n de Cofrad\u00edas of Lucena, the Episcopal Vicariate of the Campi\u00f1a, Lucena Town Council, and the Provincial Council of C\u00f3rdoba.<\/span><\/p>\n
