The Board of Officers of the Association of Brotherhoods of Lucena, meeting in ordinary session on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, has resolved the 2027 Lucena Holy Week Poster Competition, choosing the composition titled «Sagrario», by Natividad Hurtado Montes, as the announcing work, featuring the image of Nuestro Padre Jesús Cautivo de Medinaceli, the titular image of the Franciscan Brotherhood of the Passion.
The selection was made following the analysis of the 94 works of photography and digital composition submitted by a total of 12 artists, all of which complied with the rules established for this call.
Given the prominence of Nuestro Padre Jesús Cautivo de Medinaceli in the winning composition, a representative of the Franciscan Brotherhood of the Passion will be in charge of the official presentation of the poster.
For its part, the Board of Officers has selected the work «Amor Eterno», by Jennifer Campos Jiménez, as the 2027 Holy Week Detail, a composition in which the figures of the heart of Nuestro Padre Jesús Preso can be seen.
Official presentation at the Palacio Erisana
The presentation of the Official 2027 Lucena Holy Week Poster and the Holy Week Detail will take place, God willing, on January 17, 2027, at the Palacio Erisana.
During the gala, both compositions will be publicly unveiled and the corresponding prizes will be awarded to their authors. The event will also feature a concert by the Lucena Music Band Didactic Musical Society.
The Association of Brotherhoods of Lucena conveys its congratulations to the two award-winning artists, as well as its gratitude to all participants for their contribution to the promotion and dissemination of the artistic and devotional heritage of Lucena’s Holy Week.
