Likewise, the House Museum of Our Lady of Araceli (Casa Museo de la Virgen de Araceli) is a devotional and heritage landmark closely linked to the Patroness of the town. Special mention should be made of the Santería Museum of the Venerable Archconfraternity of Our Father Jesus the Nazarene (Museo de la Santería de la Venerable Archicofradía de Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno) which, having been inaugurated in 2015, remained closed for several years and is currently undergoing reconstruction to reopening to the public. All of them can be visited by previous arrangement with the corresponding confraternity or brotherhood. To these may be added the brotherhood houses of Silencio (Silence) (which houses a replica of its titular image alongside the institution’s ceremonial items), el Huerto (the Garden) (which also manages the Getsemaní Confraternity Corner), and La Sangre (the Blood) Sangre.

Other houses primarily fulfil the essential role of safeguarding and preparing processional thrones and ceremonial items, ensuring the preservation of a heritage which, although not always on permanent display, forms an indispensable part of Lucena’s confraternity identity.

Some of the Glory brotherhoods also have their own dedicated premises. This is the case of the Hermandad de San José Artesano (Brotherhood of Saint Joseph the Craftsman), whose premises remain open on a very regular assiduousness; the Caseta de la Hermandad de Nuestra Señora del Rocío (Brotherhood Stand of Our Lady of El Rocío), a meeting place for pilgrims and horse-drawn carriages in the days leading up to their departure towards Almonte, guided by their ‘simpecado’, as well as a regular venue for social gatherings and festive events; and the house of the Brotherhood of Drummers, linked to one of the most distinctive elements of the town’s sound heritage.

Taken together, the brotherhood houses form a true map of religious life in Lucena. Each one reflects the character of its respective brotherhood or confraternity, but they all share the same spirit: to be places of faith, memory, and future. They are the natural extension of the brotherhoods and confraternities, lthe places where every detail of Holy Week and the Glory festivities are prepared, and where the passion of people is kept alive day by day, becoming a constant and enduring presence in the cultural, social, and spiritual life of the town throughout the year.
