From this website of our Agrupación of Cofradías de Lucena, I am delighted to welcome all those who visit us.

Through this site, we wish to share our history and the activities that we have been carrying out since 1944 -the year our Agrupación was founded. In addition to organizing our own events, our work has always been at the service of Lucena’s brotherhoods -both of penance and of glory- which currently number twenty four in total. We will share the most distinctive features of each one of them

In this space, you will also discover one of our city’s most deep-rooted and unique traditions: the Santería. This is the characteristic way of carrying the processional ‘pasos’ (floats), both during Holy Week and during the ‘Fiestas de Gloria’, performed by those we call ‘santeros’.
