2026-10-08.- The Brotherhood of the Holy Faith, Our Father Jesus in the Sacred Washing and Our Father Jesus Imprisoned, with its canonical seat in the Trinitarian Hermitage of God the Father, has presented the culmination of the conservation and restoration work carried out on the image of Saint Michael, an intervention aimed at guaranteeing the proper preservation of this piece of Lucena’s religious and artistic heritage.
The work has been executed by the specialized company Cecore, through the restorers José Daniel Henares and Diego Sousa, who have developed a technical action that has allowed for the stabilization of the work and the recovery of its artistic value, favoring its conservation for the future.
This intervention highlights the importance of undertaking specialized actions on historical and religious heritage, both to preserve the integrity of the works and to ensure their transmission to future generations.
From the Lucena Brotherhood Association, we express our recognition to the professionals responsible for the restoration for the rigor, precision, and care demonstrated throughout the process, which has contributed to the conservation of a piece of our artistic and religious heritage.
